God breathed into Adam and he became a living soul. In Hebrew the word soul means - breath. Adam became a LIVING BREATH. Does this excite you like it does me? Let me continue with a story. Dear Nicodemus was a ruler of the Jews who was terribly curious about Jesus' teachings. So he went to Jesus by night and asked,
"Rabbi (teacher) how can we be born again when we are old? Do we enter a second time into our mother's womb and be born?"
Jesus seemed slightly amused and breaks into a description of the Kingdom.
“Very truly I tell you, no one can enter (or see) the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit. 6 Flesh gives birth to flesh (our earthly experience) but the Spirit gives birth to spirit (Living in the Kingdom of God on earth)7 You should not be surprised at my saying, ‘You must be born again. 8 The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.”
1. Where did you come from? You came from God (Kingdom) to this planet.
2. Where is the Kingdom of God? Jesus said the Kingdom of God is within. 3. Why does this make perfect sense? Because WE are temples of the Holy Spirit so that would definitely mean the Kingdom is within.
4. What does God look upon when he looks at man? Man looks on the outward appearance but God looks upon the heart. God looks within to find man's essence, man's soul.
"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places, even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world." Wherever Jesus was before time - we were there.
To live on earth requires BREATH. Breath is LIFE.
. . .. . . wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.”
To experience the Kingdom of God WHILE on the earth one needs to be physically alive. Life on planet earth is different than life with God, pre physical birth. It's all spirit and water in the Kingdom. But the earth requires living Souls.
Remember Adam, he came from the Kingdom of God and to maintain his Kingdom connection he became a Living Soul, a Living Breath. Earth dwellers need Living Breath. Everything living on earth breathes. Jesus had a 'human' soul to live on the earth, to breathe fresh, clean air and to experience human life which is not possible or necessary pre- physical birth. Your soul is God's breath in you. Your soul (breath) allows you to experience life, to physically LIVE.
Here is the elementary science.
Life in the form of Oxygen flows through your blood stream to EVERY CELL. (the life of each creature in the blood. Lev. 17:11) Your Soul GIVES LIFE TO EVERY CELL OF YOUR BODY EVERY MINUTE OF EVERY DAY. You never think about it. Some day you won't need God's breath for a life on earth any longer, then you will only live by spirit and water - your Kingdom duds!
The Jewish nation celebrated life at each festival and feast day with a toast 'Le' Chaim' ~ To Life!
Earth was made just for man and living things like plants and animals, they all breathe in this biosphere. All earth organisms are built from the same six essential elemental ingredients: carbon, hydrogen, nitrogen, oxygen, phosphorus and sulfur (CHNOPS).Our body is our earth suit.
If you and I were to travel to Mars we would wear a suit to adjust the Mar's environment and atmosphere so we could survive.
What we call our soul is OUR LIFE BREATH for life on planet earth.
